Morning's here

As anyone who knows me will tell you, I am not a morning person. In fact, it takes me at least two cups of really strong tea or coffee to regain my human self. But perhaps i am growing old, but I have actually begun enjoying the drive to work in the mornings... only in order to miss the chaotic and uncivilised traffic that Karachi (and perhaps all third world 'cities') is famous for, i have to leave the house much earlier than I have to. But it's worth it. Especially today... which began with a dhamaal by Abida Parveen on Lal Shahbaaz, followed by that sexy female Zeenat Aman's old hits. Followed by good old Neil Diamond and Bruce. So perhaps music is food for the soul? It's still early though, and whoi knows -- I'll probably be my usual cranky and irritable self in less than an hour!
